The ARTmania 2011 story begins with the kingdom build by a band. It rules over an entire kingdom of the metal scene, for years of ongoing supremacy. Words like “legendary band” and “genre defining” used by some metal journalists are far from being exaggerated when it comes toNevermore. Their extraordinary music embraces every element of the metal spectrum. Nevermore was born in Seattle, Washington, in 1991, by former members of Sanctuary. Since then Nevermore has launched seven studio albums, been round the world several times, and seduced listeners’ hearts everywhere. Over the years, Nevermore has constantly evolved and became one of he most remarkable and unique bands in the world. In 2010 the Seattle quartet returned triumphant with “The Obsidian Conspiracy”, a new and impressive album, and in 2011 the Americans are landing at ARTmania Festival on august 12.

For gothic music lovers ARTmania Festival has invited to Sibiu Lacrimas Profundere. They have been playing gothic rock since 1993, and for their unique style Napalm Records has been representing them since 1999. Through their world tours they have proven to be a successful band, especially thanks to the Apocalyptica tour in 1997. Promoted by MTV and VIVA the Germans became famous shortly. Their music, a perfect harmony between classic gothic rock and ballads is stronger than The 69 Eyes, but more generous and more sophisticated than H.I.M. and ever more melancholic when compared with “the sisters of mercy”. Their efforts and the bands energy have been bottled up in their latest album, composed during touring brakes, The Grandiose Nowhere. For an unforgettable live experience we strongly recommend being present on August 12 at ARTmania Festival.
